Fundimensionals @ The Crash Mansion, Bitter End

Does your idea of fun consist of driving to summer music festivals, camping out and dancing in the mud with all of your best friends and thousands of new friends you’ve met before? Do you like improvised, free-ranging guitar solos? Do you believe that rhythm is not just an accompaniment to but at least a full 50 percent of what makes a grooving rock show? Do you like jam bands like The Grateful Dead, Phish, Umphrey’s Magee and moe.?

If so, then you would like Fundimensionals!

Fundimensionals are an up-and-coming fixture of the jam band universe all hailing from Westchester, New York. They feature the guitar and songwriting by Ben Malmed, the effect wizardry of guitarist Alex Sciortino and keyboard skills of Brandon Goodman. Tone-freak bassist and producer Russell Starkey grooves hard with the raging drums/percussion combo of Carter Burgess and Aaron Hagele. All of the members of this band believe in a boundless approach to music; all members contribute to composition and all members sing. Widespread influences have made Fundimensionals a truly eclectic group, incorporating rock, blues, jazz, funk, electronic music.

You can see Fundimensionals at the Furthur/Allman Brothers After-Party at the Crash Mansion on Friday, March 11th, 2011. Fundimensionals estimated showtime is 12:30 AM. Open bar (vodka drinks) from 9-10:00, $4 beers and $5 mixed drink specials all night! $1 shots all night if you dress for the black and blue theme!
